A Life Transformed and a Growing Work in Mombasa
Along the shores of the Indian Ocean, in the historic coastal region of Mombasa, Kenya, God is quietly moving through the life and ministry of a courageous local believer named Gregory.
Gregory serves as a regional representative and trainer for You Last Forever (YLF). His story is one of remarkable transformation. Raised in a Muslim background, Gregory encountered the life-changing message of Jesus Christ and came to faith. That encounter altered the course of his life, and today he is devoted to sharing the Gospel with others who once believed as he did.

Because Gregory understands the culture, traditions, and questions many Muslims wrestle with, he is uniquely positioned to speak about Christ with compassion and clarity. His testimony gives him credibility, and his faith gives him courage to bring the message of salvation into places where it is not always easy to share.
Through the partnership of local believers and the teaching ministry of Chaplain Fisher, the message of You Last Forever has recently begun reaching churches in the Mombasa region in a powerful way.
Using live video calls, Chaplain Fisher has been able to teach the You Last Forever message to several local congregations. Though separated by distance, the Gospel message traveled clearly across the connection as Chaplain Fisher walked through the simple presentation of salvation using the YLF card.
The response has been extraordinary.
During these virtual teaching sessions in three different churches in the Mombasa area, 48 people have placed their faith in Jesus Christ.
In the first church, 17 people responded to the Gospel, including 11 individuals from Muslim families. In a second church gathering, 23 people came to faith, with 8 also coming from Muslim backgrounds. In a third church, 8 more people responded to Christ.
Each number represents a person, a family, and a future being changed by the message of the Gospel.
After the first meeting, Gregory later shared something that deeply moved him. As the message was being taught and people were responding, he heard women weeping as they realized their need for salvation and placed their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. These were tears of conviction that turned into faith and surrender.
Moments like these remind us that God’s Spirit moves in powerful ways even when ministry happens across great distances.
While care must always be taken to protect believers in regions where following Christ can carry risk, it is important to celebrate what God is doing. The work in the Mombasa area continues to grow as local believers share the message of Christ and disciple new followers.
Gregory remains at the center of this work on the ground—training believers, strengthening churches, and helping carry the message of You Last Forever into communities where many people have never clearly heard the Gospel.
To support this growing ministry, You Last Forever Ministries is working toward providing Gregory with a motorcycle.
In many regions of East Africa, transportation determines how far a ministry can reach. Churches and villages may be miles apart, and reliable travel can make the difference between visiting one community or several in a single day.
With a motorcycle, Gregory will be able to travel more quickly between churches, reach additional communities, conduct more training sessions, and follow up with new believers who are beginning their journey of faith.
It is a simple tool—but one that can significantly multiply the reach of the Gospel.
The story unfolding in the Mombasa region is a reminder that God often works through ordinary people who faithfully respond to His call. Through the partnership of local leaders like Gregory and the teaching ministry of Chaplain Fisher, the message of salvation is continuing to spread.
And the impact is already being seen.
Forty-eight lives have already come to Christ through these recent teachings.
Yet the work is only beginning.
You can support this growing ministry by praying for Gregory and the believers in the Mombasa region—for wisdom, protection, and boldness as they continue sharing the Gospel. Pray also for the new believers, that they will grow strong in their faith and become witnesses of Christ within their families and communities. You can also help provide the practical resources needed to expand this outreach, including training materials, YLF cards, and the transportation Gregory needs to reach more communities.
Together, we can help ensure that the message of Jesus Christ continues to spread—one conversation, one church, and one life at a time.
